  1. Cool. Was looking for it and couldn't find it with the search bar.
  2. Anyone know how to remove/reinstall the rear drivers side seatbelt in the estate. Failed my nct (mot equivalent) due to a tiny mark in the belt. Have a second hand one but now idea how to remove the old one and reinstall the new one.
  3. Still didn't work. Think I'll just hold off and buy the proper system when I've a bit of spare cash lol
  4. Yeah tested it. COM4. then saved it. I've selected control module finder (to see what that does) and its been scanning away the last 10 min
  5. Ok downloaded vcds lite and have the cable. but when i select Autoscan and select skoda octavia I it scans for about 5 min and then nothing happens. doesn't give me any codes or anything. The engine light came on there about an hour ago so i said i'd give this a try as cable only arrived tomorrow. Any suggestions?
  6. Yeah I've a Sib myself. He's very hyper lol. Sister has a female and she's so much quieter.
  7. Really. That's a tad bit silly. I was hoping it was a fuse or loose connection or something. Off topic but nice husky. Yours? Siberian or malamute?
  8. Hi guys. Quick question. I noticed my seatbelt light doesn't work. When I start up the car it beeps and flashes about the seatbelt but then that's it. It doesn't notice that I have removed my seatbelt. No warning buzzers or lights come up on the dash. A friend of mine has an octavia. It's an Octy 1 aswel and got him to test and his doesn't do it either. I'm sure that's not right and it should bring up a light on the dash and warning buzzer? Ah recommendations? I know it's only something small but to me it's a safety feature as my partner is learning to drive who is originally from South Africa where you do not have to wear seatbelts. So that warning buzzer or light will remind her to put it on, if not for safety, at least to avoid a fine and penalty points.
  9. Awh yes. From cork if I'm right lol. Small world lol.
  10. Anyone know can do it with my gearbox?
  11. Tis me alright lol. Still have the pajero. Although she is off the road at the moment. Do I know you. What's the username on pocuk. Small work aint it. And id def recommend getting a bike. Love taking it out during the good weather.
  12. Did the ashtray last night. Forgot to take a photo though. Looks much better now.
  13. Cool. Let us know. And if someone could maybe move this topic then?
  14. Ok so turns out that the boot not locking was related to my interior lights not working which also brought up a door open symbol and the electric windows where not working. When I pulled down my interior light the spring popped off and obviously hit something it shouldn't have and blew a fuse. After finding the spring I put it all back together with t interior lights still not working. Checked the fuse and number 14 was blown. Replaced the fuse. Wolla. Interior light working up front and the boot. Open door symbol on dash gone. Electric widows started working again. And boot started locking with the rest of the doors. Can anyone explain why this fuse for interior lights does all those. I would have thought windows and central locking would be on a different fuse?
  15. It's not made by 3m but would be something very similar. It's just a 3d vinyl.
  16. Any ideas. Only had the car a few weeks and only noticed now that the boot lock doesn't lock with the rest of the doors. I'm almost sure it used to so it must have just stopped recently. Any ideas? I don't have remote central locking. Have to use the key in the front two doors. I'm almost sure i used to be able to lock the car from the rear too.
  17. She my first ever bike aswel lol. Never even on a moped before this. Passed my bike test first time. Only did it a month ago. Driving instructor was shocked that I never has a lesson or on a bike before that one. Did a three hour Pre test and was amazed at my control. So I must be an alright rider lol. As for the 17s. Was thinking about it but kinda like the way the bike looks a little lower on the front end and if I go to the 17s I'm afraid it'll raise the front. Besides. The spray job on the wheels cost me a fortune as special paint had to be made in Czech or Poland. I've Matte white wrap with carbon fibre and the guy who did my wheels has it matching the exact white. Cost me a bomb to do.
  18. Does look cool in all fairness. I'm hoping to get a load of different colours eventually in. Looking at importing some matte colours aswel like green, orange, black, white, pink, red etc... Along with eventually all the above carbon colours. But it's expensive a roll when you don't exactly have a good income lol. The plan is to have a range of colours hanging on the garage wall lol.
  19. Ok. Link above doesn't work as the hornet is spaced and it doesn't recognise it as a link. Try this one. http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg249/dizbo66/Honda%20Hornet/
  20. Not sure if this is the right topic to put this is as I couldn't see one for other vehicles. So feel free to move if need be. This is my baby. Got her just under 2 year ago. Spent €1200 to buy it and have pumped about €2500 into her so far. It's better to start at the last photo and work your way to the first one and you'll see the progress I've made. Photos where taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 550d and an iPhone 4s. http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg249/dizbo66/Honda Hornet/
  21. Yeah when I was buying my carbon I did a survey on a few lads as I used to run a car modification website (even though I know nothing about engines and mechanics lol). I could get black, white, silver, red or blue carbon. Was buying in bulk and wanted to see what would sell best. Out if 245 people or so that I asked. Only one said white and one said blue. Everyone else was black. So never actually bought any of the other colours. Would be interesting to see the silver carbon. So keep me posted when you do it.
