Hi, I am looking into buying a new Skoda (had two Octavias before), and we narrowed our search to Scala and Kamiq first. However, yesterday I learnt in dealership that new Octavia has exactly the same price. It is a bigger and nicer car, so I am thinking of getting Octavia. Here are some questions: 1. What are the arguments against new Octavia? To me if price is the same, it is a no brainer you get a nicer car. 2. We are looking at 1.0 TSI version with DSG. Are there any problems with power output of this engine for the weight of the car? 3. I understand that new Octavia hasn't been tested fully and buying a completely new car model is risky, especially that they are making 1.0 TSI version with hybrid only. Is it a real concern? Would you suggest going for Kamiq / Scala instead because of that? 4. Any feedback on any of the 3 cars mentioned above would help.
