  1. How would I know if I have the EDC15 model? I have the long ratio gearbox on an 2004 car. What is the wing nut stealth mod?
  2. Do you know how many miles it has done? It’s leaking from the small vent hole in the middle which I though indicated that the diaphragm has failed within? Its the original valve and has done over 100k now so dread to think what it is like inside.
  3. I would like to replace my EGR valve as its starting to leak quite abit of oil. What recommendations are there for a good quality part? Local motor factors recommend a Cambiare EGR valve as a good quality replacement. Thanks
  4. Its to do with the rear toe in on the rear. Shimming out the rear resolves the wear.
  5. Whiteline KCA310 http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KCA310
  6. Theres more to the cars suspension setup than ride height and the ride height isn't its main issue. The rear end doesnt work well with the front, and can create a see saw effect in some corners. The Rear ARB isolates this but its a crude fix. The best improvement is the geometry.. When the rear wheels are pointing inwards the car is always going to feel like it wants to understeer as its setup that way for safety. Fit a kit to make it 0 toe (rear wheels pointing straight) and the front end turn is improved. You still have a boat anchor front end feel but the car actually wants to go around a corner and tighten the line with lift off if required, nothing as good as what a french car will do though. But an improvement non the less from standard. Cheap coilovers are always a false economy.
  7. Sump plug leaking? Gets hidden by the under tray foam so you don't see the oil.
  8. Whats the point? Better off sorting out the toe in on the rear with a shim, than wearing your tyres out needlessly with camber adjustment.
  9. The picture above, is of my car on the ramps with the suspension unloaded. Pretty sure the pictures i have seen have been simular with the car in the air, but with the bush in a different place
  10. I had to have my console bushes replaced due to failure on MOT. Unfortunately i didn’t have time to get them done myself so let the garage do it. Upon doing some work on the car today, i had a better look at the console bushes and they don’t look to be installed correctly? Looking at the manual and the various threads, the flats of the bush should be nearly aligned with the cast letters underneath. Which is near enough in line with the orientation mark on the opposite side of the console. Or 6 and 12 o'clock from horizontal Quick pic: Right to be thinking that this should be taken back to the garage to be installed correctly?
  11. If i remember correctly the ASR has a very early/crude system of XDS (electronic differential lock). Although not very effective, it would be an added advantage in the snow.
  12. Avoid the ECS magnetic sump plug, made out of aluminium so you cant get it very tight to crush the washer so it ends up leaking.
  13. Don't have an ECS Magnetic sump plug by any chance? Had one and noticed it was leaking, a quick Google and quite a few have problems with them leaking. You don't know its leaking as the under tray catches it, explained why I had some oil consumption at the time.
  14. Just so I have read this right, the EDL is always on regardless of the ASR being turned on or off. So you don't need to keep the ASR on in say snowy conditions to get the advantage of the EDL.
  15. I would be interested as well if this is still available?
  16. How much feedback do these bushes give to the steering? Do they get rid of the dull lifeless steering the car has?
  17. Also wondered why we need two of each spacer? And what is the tolerance for the 71mm Diameter Spacer? Would I get away with 70mm?
  18. What connections do these speakers have? Same as the factory fitted rear ones, or the normal spade type connectors.
