  1. Just to make others aware and hopefully help someone else fix a similar issue. I own a Skoda Octavia MK3, 2017 model (new facelift), chassis type 5E, engine code CZDA. Recently, I had a problem with the cruise control: it stopped working. When starting the engine, everything seemed fine, but after driving past about 20 miles per hour, an error appeared on the dashboard and the cruise control became unavailable. No other faults were shown anywhere. When checking the car with VCDS, I was getting the following errors: 01-Engine – Status: Malfunction 0010 - This fault kept coming back every time, even after clearing it with VCDS. 16-Steering wheel – Status: Malfunction 0010 - This error could be cleared, but it returned at the next engine start whenever the cruise control was activated. I had to unplug the cruise control wiring to inspect the entire section, as it was hidden inside. Because the wires aren’t long enough, using the stalk for signalling causes them to pull and push slightly up or down. I assume the damage occurred due to this repeated movement over time. You don’t need to remove the entire steering wheel unless the issue is more complicated. I only had to undo one screw underneath and the two screws hidden behind the steering wheel. These become visible if you turn the steering wheel halfway to the left or right to remove the cover. The stalk has a small cover behind it, which you need to take off to access the wiring and the circuit board for the cruise control.
  2. Hello @pab567 I have Amundsen. Will you please be able to help and to explain the steps on how to update to P0480T, using MIB STD2 Toolbox and where to download the update for P0480T (MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T). Thank you very much.
  3. Hello, Can I update from MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0369T to MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T? I have Skoda Octavia 2017 model , facelift. Thank you very much!
  4. Hello, Is there a new update for SW Train: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0369T please? I saw on the MIB-Helper that latest possible firmware update is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T. Can it be updated to MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T ? Thank you very much!

  7. Hello I have a Skoda Octavia year 2017 facelift. I hope I am not off topic. Was just trying to figure it out why my demister was not working on the top 3 elements. By reading the comments in here, they are actually radio antenna. I have put some pictures, can someone who really know confirm that they are part of radio/antenna and not the demister system. Just looking for an answer, because I have a warranty visit booked for this. LOL. Thank you.
  8. Hello, I am new in here. I own a Skoda Octavia SEL 17 plate facelift. Last spring I realised that my demister doesn't work on the top 3 lines, where is the brake light. When its snow or frozen you can't see the brake light , because it doesn't melt. Apart from that everything works fine. My concern is that this is a factory fault or they are actually not working on every car(same model) and they are there just for design? From what I have seen , they are not connected. Anyone with the same problem? Thank you.
