I have this issue and will be looking to sell my car in the next 6 months (Not due to this, due an upgrade). Anyone have any idea on how easy it is to replace the plastic seatbelt housing? I assume it isn't straightforward considering it looks to be built into the pillar.

Hi all Looking for some advice and apologies if this has been covered before! (couldnt see a mention after a quick browse). Does anyone know if a 2015 vrs tsi has swirl flaps and therefore likely to fall fowl of the plastic degradation issue? I dont have a problem yet (fingers crossed) but think that prevention is better than a cure. I have seen that you can get a blanking kit for a tdi, didnt know if the same was possible / good idea for the tsi. Any thoughts or experiences?
