Hi mate I was looking at the post and just wondered I'm thinking of doing the same to my Skoda Octavia mark 3 which I bought last year it is a brand new car and I was thinking of putting on this Scandinavian lighting obviously I will buy a obd11 just out of interest did you get all your issues sorted out it looks a bit scary to me there are only two things I need to do on my car are turn the stop and start off put on Scandinavian drl all advice would be thankful and should I buy the pro version or just the basic version of the obd11 not going to be doing a lot of coding or anything like that that thanks a lot

Reason for asking this question is that nobody came back to me gave me an exact location before I start taking panels off

1.5 petrol where is the fuel filter located obviously it's not in the engine bay does somebody know the exact position thank you you

Hi guys have a problem I'm trying to get in touch with the kill a wiper site but have been very unsuccessful through the phone and internet and anybody know if they have ceased to exist that is the killer wiper site that provide taps for deleting wipers getting bit bloody knowing tried emailing and phoning no response can anybody tell me what's going on thanks

Hi guys where the fuel filter on the Mark3 is located this particular vehicle was built in 2019 and is petrol we're only wondering is it in the usual place somewhere under the car it's not under the bonnet is it where the diesel ones are located but this one that is in the location of the diesel fuel filter looks like something but we're not sure what that thing is thank you also curious what is that thing in front of the the radiator top up just curious

Hi mate 8th with the double speed wax buy bilt hamber can you get 6-months from start to finish the old Formula on soft99 definitely get 8 months in your opinion is bilt hamber just as good I only need six months at a time put it on after polishing clay boring and decontaminating Skoda Octavia in the first week of October maintain it over winter I need to get to release the last week in March do you think bilt-hamber double speed-wax will get me there are thanks mate would appreciate your input

Thanks a lot mate I think I know what you're talking about now it's all to do with the sense of picking up the light conditions when you require the lights to come on earlier or later I will try this out the next few days

Sorry could you explain a little bit more in detail please is it do with the light conditions that the sensor pick up sorry I'm just little bit lost

Hi guys in the light setting function on the multifunctional screen on the Skoda it says switch on time and then a box appears with with early , medium , light what does that actually mean I cannot see any difference in anything I've tried what does the function actually do I thought it was something to do with the auto light system but I do not think it is is please advise

Hi guys has anybody fitted a MAXTON front splitter on the Mark 3 is the ((((((quality)))) any good , my second question if I go for a genuine Sportline front splitter from Skoda parts I think it details about £200 it should fit my front end has anybody in the community tried this what the pitfalls is it worth with going with the MAXTON splitter does it look cheap PS my car is silver and comes with the Black pack anyway all that is missing is the front splitter thanks guys all input will be welcomed

Oh I understand yes just wondered how the system update itself does it do it automatically or is it something I do manually and how often should I update it

Hi guys on my Skoda I've got a AMUNDSEN sat nav have just wondered from you guys what are your views on it is it any good more crucially do I have to update it and after 3 years of owning the vehicle am I still allowed to update it through Skoda or do I just update it through internet I know you can link Google to Android assist which I have tried but I think the on-board system looks better just want your views on it

Hi guys just wanted to Jen myself up a bit about the 1.5 TSI petrol engine in the Octavia is this the same engine used in VW cars Audi's and the seat with just some cosmetic changes in the engine bay,,,,,, the engine I think is basically the same I understand they used to do a 1.4 l engine as well then up to 1.5cc was the power still the same in both engines how long have these engines been going are the turbos the same on all the engines I presumed the engines are made by VW and then supplied out to the three manufacturers all information will be very helpful sorry if I've rambled on a bit😁

Just a question had my windows tinted on the passenger doors at the rear are you very light tint 75% of light does go through it ,rear tailgate has not been tinted front doors have not been tinted it is basically one shade up from the factory tint just to keep the grandchildren in the summer from getting too hot and for security but my question guys is I presume I've got to tell the insurance company will my premium go up by a lot do you think I've been with the same insurance company for 15 years
