Paint code
Skoda Octavia mark 3 registered 2020 built in 2019 I have 17 in denom these wheels are only on the se drive the car is actually a brilliant silver but obviously the alloys are slightly different shade , is the paint code inside the wheels obviously they have been cast are those the numbers unfortunately I have a slight stone Nick and I need to touch it up u I am very OCD about the vehicle it is really annoying me damage due to an idiot with a strimmer but let's not go there I have read somewhere that this is a Volkswagen Audi code L1H7 and I don't want to talk about the parts guy at my local Skoda garage according to him that haven't invented the paint yet it's too new you let's not go there are can't even get my registration right without telling me the vehicle does not exist thank God I bought the vehicle for somewhere else ok guys thank you for the help this question obvious Steve been asked 1000 x but best make sure๐

Tyre pressure
Thanks lot๐ค Thanks a lot

Tyre pressure
Hi chaps just an observation the tyre pressure monitoring system will only tell you you if you have a rapidly deflating tyre major blow out or a big nail that has accepted through the wall of the tyre uh am I right in thinking that normal air seepage which happens over the course of a month or two two is not picked up by the system just wondered am I more or less in the ballpark I thought the system told you if it went down by two or 3 PSI immediately obviously it's only there for major problems thank you for feedback

Suspension in sports mode
Right here is my question guys in sports mode on my Skoda 1.5 TSI which is a mark 3 2019 plate does my suspension stiffen up in sports mode or is it just the steering wheel and throttle response that activates am I feeling a false scent of less body roll due to the steering wheel becoming farmer p.s. guys I'm not a big fan of the steering wheel getting heavier obviously I can go into the settings and go individual mode of this suspension thing has got me wondering thanks guys

Jacking points
Ok I'm going to take that on board the Skoda has just seals hard seal points for jacking up and the rest of it just looks very soft but you have given me ideas thanks a lot mate 8th Thanks a lot mate 8th will take it all on board your analysis is very interesting
-
Jacking points
Ok mate that makes sense I thought it would be something like that I will keep an eye on the the soft part of the seals and then lifted up and put it on axle stands on the hardpoints I usually use ice hockey pucks they are durable and can take the weight without damaging anything thanks a lot
-
Jacking points
My question is is when I Jack the car up at it's a jacking points under the seals where you have the extra strength and jacking seal which is roughly about where the books that specifies obviously the same on all vehicles but my problem is if I Jack it up at this point and wish to put the car on axle stands can I actually go back a little bit further to put the axle stands under the seal which doesn't look strengthened without damaging them once I lead the Jack out can the car rest on these softer point on the appoint underseal on my previous car's you could check them up at the rear axle and at the front frame but these new Octavia is covered underneath would it be safe to put axle stand on the softer part of the seal which is not straightforward and then withdraw the actual Jack surely there must be away without caving in the under seals where it is not strengthened obviously these new cars and made lighter so so you must only hit the Pacific points

V-Power
Ok mate that makes sense
-
Ron 95 or 99
Question can I use V-Power which is a higher Ron 99 then standardforecourt fuel which I believe is Ron 95 would it harm the car I was just curious would this cause pinking problems would it burn out anything like the sensors in the exhaust system not really worried about performers just wondered about the cleaning abilities of the fuel because it is a new car thought I'd put this in every once and while
-
V-Power
That makes a lot of sense to me me thanks a lot That makes a lot of sense to me thanks a lot That makes a lot of sense to me thanks a lot

V-Power
Hi guys just a quick question on my new Skoda Octavia 1.5 which has just done 1000 miles I've got to put fuel in it it in another 80 miles my question is should I now put shell v Power in the next tank for which will probably be 57 L I think so basically every fourth refill put v power so it would keep injectors system and fuel system clean I used to use Redex in my old Vauxhall all every 5th tank full but I presume you don't put Redex in a new car for a while or am I wrong please advice thanks a lot guys

Yes mate I remove the rear wiper arm on my old Vauxhall and I use Rain-X and other special chemicals haven't had a need to use a rear wiper for 12 years so I'm going to give it a go on the Octavia plus it will make the car look better I do not think I will run into a problem at this present moment I have got rain x on it and not use the rear wipers since I've bought the car
