I have just bought a 2019 model Scala 1.0 115 SE, which I plan to drive in France soon. However, I can find no way either to adjust or mask the headlights for driving on the right to avoid blinding oncoming vehicles, as required by French law. My car has “basic” LED headlights. However, the only instructions in the owners’ manual are for adjusting the “full“ LED version, which is done by means of a control on the infotainment panel that does not exist on my car. Beam deflector masks for the Scala do not seem to exist, either. I have repeatedly called Skoda UK and the Skoda dealer from whom I bought the car. Neither has a solution and each has kept sending me back to the other, creating mounting frustration. I have even tried Skoda head office in the Czech Republic, which is equally useless. I can’t be the only owner who wants to drive this model abroad legally. Can anyone please advise me on what to do? Is there, for example, a switch in the headlight housing (I have looked for one but can’t see any)? Suggestions and help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
