  1. That's interesting. It does get very cold during the winter where I live. I think that I don't know enough about how regens work. Do you know about any links where I can read up on that?
  2. If I swapped from the petrol to the diesel, that would be in order to save some cash, and to get a more powerful (and environmentally friendly) engine. By going with the petrol car, it just feels a bit strange to pay more to get a weaker and less efficient engine, that also pollutes more. However, I do also mostly make shorter trips, with the occasional longer weekend trip and vacations. On average a total of 6000 miles per year. I'm also a bit sensitive to engine noise, so I think the petrol will be better in that aspcect. Do you have any numbers or facts regarding the TSI being more reliable than the TDI?
  3. Here are the numbers from a local brochure:
  4. No, Scandinavian citizen here. I just (roughly) converted the amount from my local currency to GBP.
  5. Hi! I ordered a 2.0 TSI in august, only to now notice that the 2.0 TDI will get a significant drop in emissions from 2021, translating to a £4000 price drop in taxes where I live. So the 2.0 TDI is now £2000 cheaper than the 2.0 TSI. Has anyone else looked into this change? I thought this would be big news, but I haven't seen anyone else discussing it here. This means that the TDI now has lower emissions for both CO2 and NoX, so it's more friendly to the environment. And the TDI is a stronger and more efficient engine than the petrol sibling. Now it is also cheaper and (as before) gives more MPG. Was it a mistake to order the TSI? I thought diesel engines were being showed the door.
  6. I couldn't find the footnote that the asterisks were referring to. However, a PDF document on the page had this information:
  7. That might be it. However, both illustrations show the same length from the back lip of the boot and to the seats (1165 mm). So one of them is not correct.
  8. I've read before that the 5-seater Kodiaq has a boot space of 720 liters. But now this page says that it is 835 liters: https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/skoda-model/kodiaq/ What changed? And how?
