Taken it to the local Skoda dealer and had three separate mechanics working on it. No joy and a new mirror ordered for £100+. Not a great start but hopefully won't need to shell out for any new parts soon!

Hi everyone, This morning I've driven a 2011 VRS away; absolutely delighted and it's the car I've always wanted. Annoyingly, I've knocked the rear view mirror off the ball-arm attachment, and can't for the life of me get it back on. I've been trying for a solid hour, tried at different angles, pulled the lever etc. Can anyone help regarding this? Thanks
