  1. Hi all, Thinking of putting better tyres/wheels on the fabia 1.9tdi MK1 estate 04 plate (6y) I presume the MK1 fabia vrs wheels will fit but are there any other wheels off a later models or other makes of car ?
  2. Hi all, my mk 1 04 1.9tdi Fabia estate is needing new shocks. Looking around I can get a pair of dampeners off eBay for about £16 and going up from there. (I'll look at coils separately, don't think I can do as DIY job without compresser.) What's the best online place to get the shocks/dampers from, and what are a good make (not looking for high end performance, just a good reliable replacement set for the workhorse)? Also does anybody know what the oem number would be? Local dealer not being helpful, just want the job.
  3. Cheers for the reply, that makes life easy.
  4. Going to replace the suspension on my 04 Fabia MK1 1.9tdi estate. My question is should I just put standard suspension on or will the vtr suspension fit, and is the vtr lower or same height, as not looking at lowering the car. Any advice Thanks

Ok as you say it's not that much. would it be best to put standard suspension or vrs? Is the vrs lower than the standard TDI and will it fit?
  6. Hi all, had my 04 fabia 1.9tdi for about 7 years and don't intend getting rid of it. It's now got 136,000 miles on it and some bits and bobs needs looking at. The main thing is the suspension as it's getting soft, passes the mot each year but it's soft, would you all think it's the springs or the shocks/damper rods? The other thing would the vrs suspension fit? Cheers and hope to be learning more about my car.
