  1. Ok, never heard of that turbo before, is it any good? better than IHI20, equivalent or just VAG fitted a cheaper one?
  2. Thank you, couldn't see anything to confirm the turbo model (but established its an IHI at least) but do love an exploded view workshop manual. Thanks.
  3. HI, after a few days of searching i'm no nearer getting an answer, except Wikipedia, it seems most IZ MK2 Octavia's 2.0 TFSi's have the K03/K04 turbo? but i'm lead to believe mine has a IHI20 turbo as engine code is CCZA, can anyone advise what is actually fitted as looking at tuning parts and getting conflicting info. cheers
  4. As said above, get a proper remap not an off the shelf / through the post remap, I had one from a reputable Diesel tuning company in Essex and sent it straight back after a week as it made no difference to my 08 vRS TDi. I even videoed it plugged in and removed and no one could tell the difference. I've also had a MK4 Golf TDI pd130 remapped on a Dyno & Road, in the past and it greatly improved it, I did have a milltek exhaust too and the thing flew.
  5. HI, so I've been on here as a guest a few times before and have recently sold my mk II Octavia vRS Diesel after 3 years of relatively trouble free motoring, with a view to get a newer one with less miles and more toys, so after viewing a few dogs and one out of reach pricewise, I then brought a low mileage petrol one (2.0 TFSi EA888 Gen 1) and am looking at modifications on it, so thought I would join up properly and say hi. Gotta say what an engine, but do need to try not watch the fuel gauge or MPG figure, lol. Trev.
