  1. Do you have to accept the Skoda Connect packages to become a primary user. There are 3 options on the app, Care Connect - Proactive Service, Remote access and Infotainment online. it says they will cost £0 and will expire March 2022. What happens after this? I don’t really want to pay for those features after that date. im just sick of seeing the primary user message every time I get in the car.
  2. Got my car today, feeling quite overwhelmed with all the digital options, it’s like a computer. Once I work them out though it will be fine. Haven’t had a good dive or look around it yet, but did noticed the umbrella is in the passengers door. o
  3. Thanks mate, good feedback. I’ll be happy to share once I have it and use it for a bit.
  4. Hi All I haven’t been on for a while as I had my vehicle ordered back in October last year. I take delivery this week and now the iV has been out for a while and some of you have been driving them for a bit just have a couple of questions. I will have the L&K version in Quartz Grey. 1. Anybody got a picture of the 3 Pin U.K. Charging Cable it comes with just interested to see it and the length. 2. A couple of things were removed from the iV versions like Torch and Umbrella. Is the Umbrella slot/hold still in the door where I could put my own or is it covered over. 3. I’ll be driving purely in Hybrid mode as it’s for work and I’ll be doing longer miles each day, any feedback on 200 mile round trips or longer would be good. Just want to see how the battery has been lasting for you in these types of trips. Do you have to charge everyday. 4. Mine is a 21 plate, is the infotainment system that comes with it then ‘New’Columbus 9.2 or 10inch screen. 5. any other tips that you have come across would be welcomed as it’s my first hybrid/electric car.
  5. Found this on a Skoda Website Q - Is it dangerous if the charging cable gets wet, the vehicle is in a puddle or it is raining? A - No. The charging process is fully secured. There is no danger to persons at any time. Both the car and the charger itself have several levels of protection in these cases. For example, the current doesn’t run until it is securely plugged into the socket and both the car and charger are sure that everything is ready. So if it’s raining no issue?
  6. So what would you say are the best drive mode to get the regeneration for the battery while driving? I don’t have mine yet and see they offer; E Mode (Full Electric) Hybrid Auto & Hybrid Manual not sure what’s the difference. be great for some insight and also what settings would be best for long daily journeys.
  7. Well at least they weren’t lying to us then. 😂
  8. So when you ran out of battery, the car then recharged it while driving? That’s great. One thing I was torn by is that I do long journeys for work most days and would have to charge from 0 battery to full every night. If anybody has done a long round trip journey, 100miles + I would like to hear how it went and what kind of battery life you had left.
  9. Thanks for the info, really appreciated. Lots of things to consider. Be interesting to see how it does with my long journeys.
  10. Thanks for the reply, I was going to get the diesel version but the car tax is huge with the iv it’s about 1/3 the cost so that was a big factor. My only concern was having to charge at home every night, but with the miles I do I probably will have too. Bit of a bummer they have removed some small things like the torch and seat releases and the subwoofer. At the end of the day it’s my company car and the L&K was best value as it includes everything I need.
  11. I have just ordered my Superb Estate L&K IV, I’m assuming it will be the 21 version also, when it arrives. It’s my company car, I travel for work so the car is my office I can do up to 200 miles round trip per day sometimes more sometimes less. Couple of questions if you can answer them for me please; How often are you charging the battery? Does it run ok in just petrol mode?
