  1. Mine have that functionality, even if I hold close button on the remote, all windows close. But that isn't what I want. I want to be able to use windows when the car is unlocked and has one door open, so I can open or close any window that I want. Now, everytime I want to open or close a window with car stopped, I need to put the key into ignition and turn it to make them work. Anybody knows if it can be done?
  2. Does anybody know if I can read other brand's cars DTC codes with a VAG-COM CanBus cable interface? Maybe with another software or I would need another interface to make it work? I need to scan a Renault Espace.
  3. I would like to know if it's possible to make power windows work without the key into the ignition on a Octavia 2. Once car is stopped, windows work until a door is opened, then you have to give ignition again to make them work, which is a pain. Is it possible to recode with vag-com to make them work while a door is open, even the key isn't in the ignition?
  4. I think i will buy the mic and try the sound with it. If it isn
  5. Hello, I'm going to install a CK3100 in my Octavia RS and I was thinking if it would be possible to use the original microphone from Skoda (the one that is hidden into the roof light). This way, the Mic is not visible. It would be only neccessary to buy the original mic, and solder it to the wiring coming from CK3100. What do you think? My doubt is that i don't know if the specifications of both mics would be simmilar, so people will hear you correctly.
  6. You are true. That is a temperature sensor for the air conditioning.
  7. Does this come with equipment of VRS Octavia?
  8. Thanks. I edited my previous message to add another question (I didn't think you would reply so fast )
  9. I have read in Dension owner's manual, that if you select CD6, a list of settings can be changed, instead of a menu of Album/Artist search. Is this true? Is this menu shown in the iPod screen or in the radio screen? In the manual also says that pressing CD5 + Fast Forward or CD5 + Fast Rewind you can go forwards/backwards in albums. Have you tried this function?
  10. Nice review. I have to test original VW iPod adapter in a Golf V; a friend of mine has one, so I will be able to check how it works. Anyway, I think that the best option with the oem radio is Dension Gateway 300.
  11. Yes, I've seen it, but its aspect is simple. I wonder why they doesn't make a VRS coloured keyring.
  12. I've been searching for a vRS keyring but I seems it's not avaliable anywhere. Did you see any of this? I also asked in skoda spare parts, but nothing. I don't know how Skoda doesn't makes one of this, because it would have a lot of buyers.
  13. Hello, I ordered a vRS Octavia here in Spain. I'm thinking about use my iPod with the OEM Stream MP3. The options are to use a Gateway 300 from Dension or use an original VW iPod adapter. I would like to know which one is better. I was also thinking about use my actual Alpine IDA-X001 on my new vRS, but I don't like how it looks in the dashboard with the 1DIN adapter. Also, I would lose the ability to see the PDC graphic (not too important at all). Other option is installing a 2DIN source unit, but these are expensive and very atractive to thieves. The ones that have installed an iPod adaptor (either from Dension, or original from VW) could please tell me if the iPod can be controlled when it's connected, so you can do a search of an album/song with the interface connected to the radio? Thanks.
