Thank you for your detailed and helpful reply. I am wondering if it is my unfamiliarity with DSG or if it is a fault with the car. I will check out your suggestions and ideally see if I can drive a similar car to compare! Thanks again

Hi, I've just bought my first Skoda, a 2012 Octavia Estate 1.4TSI DSG - I'm very happy with the car but it seems very hesitant to pull away from stationary. Once moving the it seems to drive OK but as this is the first car with a DSG gearbox I've driven, I don't know if this is normal or not and if not, what's likely to be the cause? Thanks in advance
