    Tried new fuses. Still the same. Any other ideas? Thanks.

    Skoda Fabia 2002. Here's my problem. When I turn my lights on the dashboard lights up ok. As soon as I turn the ignition on they dim so instruments are practically unreadable. Adjusting the dimmer has no effect. I have also noticed that the heater control panel and cigarette lighter don't illuminate, and the number plate bulbs don't illuminate either. Have checked all the fuses and they seem ok. The number plate bulbs are also ok. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
