  1. Haha sure. Having a similar problem with my 1.9 TDI pd.
  2. I love my Skoda like crazy. 1.9 TDI, BSW engine, 258K km on the clock, well-maintained from the first day, only OEM filters, Motul-specific oil etc. For a long time, I have felt power loss and bad consumption—6.5 liters/100 kilometers at its best. Turbo works fine and can hear it, Pulls from 1600~ rpm but not like a tractor like it used to be. Deleted EGR and fitted N75 valve instead of vacuum box - NO CHANGE. New fuel filter - NO CHANGE NO CODES on the computer Back in time, I could reach 200 kilometers per hour, now I'm barely getting to 150~. The engine starts and works perfectly. Once a month or two, suddenly the car gets its power back and it could be felt, after a few minutes it loses it all . ANY IDEAS WHAT TO CHECK? ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO FIX? Thank you!
  3. Hello guys! 2008 Roomster 1.9 TDI BSW, 245xxx km on the clock. The A/C system is fully recharged !!! At the beginning of the week suddenly A/C condenser fan stoped to spin when the a/c is turned on, compressor was working properly. Somehow it fixed itself and in the following days everything just worked normally. Started the a/c today and it blows hot air. The compressor isn't engaging and the fan isn't spinning. Replaced the a/c compressor valve and still not working. The old compressor valve looks very clean, no debris at all. Checked the negative wire that goes to the valve and its ok. Check the positive wire and it delivers only 10.2 volts to the valve. Is that normal? My mechanic said it's and bad compressor but I still think it has some electrical issue.

  5. Still haven't, the car drives fine but lacks of power, the VCDS doesn't show any problems of signs of something wrong, this is totally wired. Some guy that seem to understand something told to me check the injectors by removing them(on VCDS the injectors seem to work just fine) . I also think about changing the vacuum solenoid block, not a new one but a well working one, if it works bingo if not to the next... What about you what's your problem with your mighty 1.9 tdi?
  6. Hello guys i'm new to this forum since I bought 2 month ago a 2010 Fabia 1.9 tdi with 300K KM. The car is well maintained full service history at Skoda dealer till this day. When I bought the car it drove like a train uphills and everything I have put it through. The fuel cons was 7.5L/100KM in the highway and 8L/100KM in the city which it should be more economical... The real deal was about 3 weeks ago when i drove the car and it felt like a bit more lazy, first and second gears pulls nice, but in 3rd gear the lack of power can be felt better, 4th gear from low rpm (1500-1800) it takes hard time to accelerate even from 2000 rpm it doesn't pulls like it used to be... The same goes for the 5th gear, can't drive more than 120km/h on uphills which previously i could drive there 150-160 easy. As I said the car has 300K km on the clock, fully serviced. When I bought it changed the fuel filter new 5w40 505.01 oil, oil filter. the car starts well and doesn't have any black smoke. I went to a guy I know who is servicing VW group car, checked the car with VCDS there were no codes, he took it to a spin, told me to change the mass air sensor. Changed it the day after the nothing has changed. He also check the injectors - they are fine, boost pressure sensor 3rd gear full load goes up to 2150 mbr which is good. I checked all the vacuum lines, there are no leaks, checked the EGR which it looks pretty clean( the Previous owned changed it 70k km ago), the upper turbo hoses are well connected, no leaks, checked the turbo actuator it moves freely. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP? can the vacuum solenoid block can be faulty? there is oil around the turbo inlet hose is that any problem? What can cause this kind of problem that the car isnt pulling well in low revs and cant get the power above 2k rpm in 4th and 5th gears. Is the fuel cons normal?? Thanks you for your help guys!!!
