  1. ahha thanks, if you want to point me to the thread that answers my issue much appreciated.
  2. Had a 20 plate Octavia Estate (not MK IV) now for a few months and put 2000 miles on the clock, good car. But as always there is an annoying rattle developed that needs sorted. I say rattle but it's more of a creaking clicking sound which is more noticeable over bumps and uneven road. I'm convinced it's coming from the roof trim area above the rear view mirror, it's above my head and central in the cabin for sure although rattle locations can be be deceiving little buggers ;-) and seems to be worse in colder weather for some reason. Heard a few people mention the sun glasses holder can rattle but I've dampened that down to make sure. I have also looked at the area where the dash meets the along the windscreen, this does creak when you push it down but I don't think it's that. Any help on this one if you have experience of it much appreciated.
  3. Guess what just got a new Octavia SE L Estate on a 20 plate (before new model) with the Amundsen system I think and this issue is still here - Won't save screen off after 10 seconds and show clock. Everytime you shut the car off and restart you got to set it again quite annoying, surely a simple software change to fix. Also I know an estate car = more cabin noise in general compared to a saloon. But the factory fitted Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres are noisey either it's the tyre or the road noise sheilding is poor, not good enough for a £19 Grand car.
