Octavia vrs mk2 here! I think water has got into my fuse box when I lift the lid there was lots of water there at one side , I dried it out and put the lid back on, but when I’m pressing down on the lid it’s making a suction noise and water it dripping out the bottom of the fuse box ☹️ Also my fans have started coming on by themselves every half an hour, could this be due to water

The odd few times we’ve had it started it’s fine but then when you try and start again it cuts out like a second later

2008,Skoda octavia VRS 2.0 petrol Now one of the brake lights won’t go out even when the battery is disconnected 🤔 the engine management light had gone off now but still having same problem

Anyone had any problems with their Octavia starting then cutting out straight away? New battery, alternator & starter motor are fine! All of the lights nearly come on the dashboard! Worked perfect till a few days ago when it rained really heavily! Only been able to start it a couple of times since then & when it does start it drives fine till I go to start it again 👎🏻 Won’t connect to diagnostic machine either Thanks 🙏🏼🤞🏼
