  2. Hi Everyone I have little to no knowledge about cars but I'm slowly learning. I'm in the market for a used Octavia 1.4TSI SEL Yesterday I went to see a 2016 model with 18k on the clock Very Nice! I liked the car a lot. As i drove away from the garage (test drive) and began to accelerate I noticed a loud sound in the rear cabin that sounded like shattered glass moving in one of the doors! As I changed up gears from 2 to 3 it repeated twice and then was gone for the rest of the test drive. Please can anyone advise me what this is? Has anyone else experienced this noise? I've been driving 17 years and It was a weird noise unlike any I ever associated with driving. There was no shattered glass.
  3. hello Pls 1st post go gentle on me! I need some advice I’m thinking of buying a used Octavia 1.4 SE L 2017 think it’s mark 3 facelift with split lights. Other than driving cars i don’t no a great deal about what I should be looking at. I know that looking underneath won’t reveal much, unless I can get the car up to remove the drip tray. I know this because a recently unsuccessful experience with a 2009 1.8tsi Taught me so. I wonder if any one here can point me in the direction of a decent used car buyers checklist and maybe offer any other advise or things to look for before I part with my cash. Thanks
