    60mpg is good for the petrol is it not - what average speed? The LA can be switched off I believe from the menu but turns back on when car is restarted I have read - hope someone works out how to kill that via VCDS or similar!

    If anything like some Audi's, the wiring maybe in the door and there could be a blank at the base of the door to add them yourself - likely to be standard VAG connections and size - so possible eBay or Amazon.
