Hortons have a black grille surround for sale finished in “Black pearl”, I’ve not seen this colour mentioned before on the cars so would this be the colour the grille is finished in now?. Thx.

Got a quote to wrap it (and the side window chrome )for £250 which I think is lot!. Finding a “good specialist” is considerably harder than swapping it out myself I think.

Go to the scdb.info site, have a readthrough and download the correct zip files. You can try a free sample file to ensure you have the right database for your system. Once you’re happy that you know which set you want it’s £10 for the zip file, unpack it to a SD card (personal poi folder) and load it to the car.literally 10 mins work and you then have speed camera alerts....

Hi, I’ve got the speed camera alerts from SCDB working fine on myColumbus,cost £10 but really easy to set up and import. My question though is it possible to improve the volume of the System poi “ding”sound when approaching a camera,or to change the sound file completely for something more exciting?. Thanks,Rachel. “

Thanks for letting me know it’s possible. Are you able to give me a few details about your removal procedure please?,it’s really important I don’t start something I can’t finish..... Are there screws/bolts to remove or is it just brute force to get it off??

Hi, Some advice from the hive mind please. Is the “Black magic” painted grille frame from Superskoda worth buying in reality? . I’m not sure the chrome one suits the car but I can recall people discussing how hard (impossible?) it is to remove the existing one without mullering the radar etc. On the SS site the photo appears to show lots of clip locators,are there also screws/bolts to remove which are not accessible with major taking apart work?. I’m not worried about the one being removed so...for instance...could I use a micro saw to cut it into section to assist removal etc.? Lastly, has anyone had experience of getting the chrome frame wrapped instead?. Thanks,Rachel.
