Dual dashcam hardwire installation instructions
Well, I think I can attach the ground wire to the bolt near the fuse box. No need to attach it to the ground bolt stated in the workshop manual. I tested the fuse box today and used that bolt for ground. I still not sure about wiring the cable of the rear camera around the airbags. Maybe above the roof trim panel? Straight ahead from the front to the rear? Did someone succeeded in routing a rear camera cable in Skoda Scala this way?

Dual dashcam hardwire installation instructions
Hi there everyone, I want to install a dual dash-cam (DDPAI Z40) in my Skoda Scala 2020 but have some questions. My model has 7 airbags so I though it would be better to route the rear camera cable through the lower trim panels. What do you think? Will you recommend to detach the ground of the battery when routing the cable? As extra safe precaution to not ignite anything with airbags? I've looked into the workshop repair manuals to see how to remove the trim panels so I can route the rear cam cable to the tailgate, but It looks a bit complicated, with many other trim panels to remove and interior parts to disassemble. In addition, there is still a rear side air bag that the cable should go behind it, right? Question about ground/earth point; should I use the bolt near the fuse box or should I try to connect the hardwired GND to the earth point stated in the workshop repair manual? It's somewhere behind the lower trim panel, below the drivers door speaker (LHD), noted as no. 639 (earth point on left A-pillar). Question about removing the double braided strip door seal; I've tried to remove it to see how difficult it is, and it's difficult to me. It positioned firmly in place and I'm afraid to damage it If I'll continue to pull it away. Why is that? On some YouTube videos I watched, It's always looks so easy to pull it away... Has anyone did this kind of routing with his Skoda Scala and can share his tips and tricks? Maybe images of installation or useful YouTube videos with latest Skoda models including instruction on how to route cables behind airbags? Thank you in advance, Appreciate your help!

Scala owners - what battery installed in your car?
Hi there, I'd like to know what type of battery do you have? My Scala is 1.0 TSI 116PS equipped with a 12V 49Ah 320A DIN battery, and lately the stop start system stopped working most of the time. I own the car since September 2020. The car was assembled at 02/2020 and so is the manufacturing date of the battery. I drive approximately 45km a day to work and back home. Overall made ~8000km. First five months the system worked flowlessly but now it berraly works. Battery test done by service sais the battery good but needs to be recharged... Am I driving less than required to recharge the battery during daily use? The system sais "Power consumption is high". When I checked Varta website for compatible EFB battery, it suggested me the 60Ah battery and the 70Ah battery. Am I missing something? Why would the manufacturer place small battery in the first place? Any thoughts and recommendations will be accepted. Gary.

Traces of sticker on windscreen
Since day one I own my scala (sept 20) I've noticed traces of some liquid poured and dried on my windscreen at the passenger side. Thought it would disappear by it self after few rainy days and several wipes. But no... Today I also realised there was once some kind of triangular sticker and it left its trace on the windscreen. Like a negative siluete or something, maybe when the car was stored under the sky and sun? Does someone know what it is and how do I clean / remove it? To me it looks like it's in the glass and impossible for removal. Could it be? I attached a photo I took this evening at my parking place. Near the light reflection you can spot a big Z with numbers below, something like 09-2... Thank you for your responses. Gary.

No 12v socket in Boot
Hi, I've got my SCALA 'Style' (1.0 TSI 115HP) a few weeks ago, manufactured Feb 2020. In the cabin; no under-seat storage and no side pockets on the front seats. In the boot; no 12 Volt socket and no top tether hooks. In Israel, 'Style' trim level comes with the virtual cockpit and Climatronic environmental control system. Additional TSI trim levels are 'Ambition' (1.0 115HP), which is the basic trim level, and 'Sport' (1.5 150HP).
