Hi, Have seen a lot of posts about the red oil light flashing, and recommendations to check strainer in sump, but what about if the temperature gauge goes low at the same time the oil light flashes. Surely not enough oil pressure would cause the engine temp to go up not down. Also the temp change on the gauge is quite a rapid change and only happens briefly then recovers. The oil light flashing is also very intermittent. The car can run for days without this happening. I have had the oil pressure switch changed and it made no difference to the fault.
