That's really good news for you regarding the lead time - unfortunatley for me, a 10-12 week lead time was to long long and I had to look elsewhere. As a related aside, IIRC, the 280hp engined car is cheaper, more economical and produces lower emissions than the 272 hp version that is replaced. So, win, win & win !

is that for the 280hp engine ?

If its of help to anyone, I've just found out that the 280ps engine is now available to order and that the lead time is 10-12 weeks.

Today I tried in vain today to order a Superb Estate 2.0 TSI 272 L&K, with the dealer saying that "requested model is not currently showing on the Skoda ordering system". When I was on the Skoda Configurator, on the car card, it says "THis engine is only available from stock". In essence, does this mean that there aren't any 272 engines available and my order can't be processsed until the updated 280 engine goes online ?

From reading, then rereading all of the Autotrader Ad for Kodiaq L&K's at Skoda Main Dealers, it looks like I've overlooked this bit at the bottom "Please note The data displayed above details the usual specification of the most recent model of this vehicle. It is not the exact data for the actual vehicle being offered for sale and data for older models may vary slightly." Maybe I can get some gloves with heat pads in their linings ! By chance, you don't happen to have the details of the standard specification as well ?

The car was registered at the end of June 20 and I got it last week.

This is the steering wheel that I have, that doesn't have the button that Arkaig refers to.

From the Skoda website, its currently showing as standard equipment "2-spoke heated leather multi-function steering wheel with hands off detection and DSG paddles" on the L&K. The 3 spoke heated wheel is shown as a no cost option.
