Columbus SATNAV outdated and no update?!
@Rustynuts is this the kind of thing I need? - also, despite being copies, they’ll still do the job. Right?

@langers2k bang on! I don’t suppose you by any chance help me find the right DVD? I’m not too great at this kind of thing.

Columbus SATNAV outdated and no update?!
@langers2k thanks ever so much for your detailed response, it’s really appreciated! If I were to buy a DVD with the current maps on, is this something I would need to keep in my disc drive at all times, or does it install them so to speak? I think I’ll certainly take a look at finding one! - is there a way of finding out exactly which Columbus unit I have without taking it out? Cheers, Charlie.

Columbus SATNAV outdated and no update?!
~FIRST POST~ My Skoda Superb MKII Elegance DSG has a Columbus satnav, I’ve often found that whilst driving on newer roads (that have been in existence a good 3 or 4 years to my knowledge) my satnav does not think they exist. I’ve put in my serial number on the Skoda website to check for a map update and there aren’t any. I’ve also contacted my local Skoda garage and they said they’d “raised a technical” which I think is when they don’t know the answer they submit something to higher up. it’s not all that bad as it’s only occasionally it doesn’t know a road, I just worry that if I’m trying to get somewhere I don’t know I might be missing out on a huge shortcut. Does anybody else experience this and/or found a fix?
