Could anyone advise if the Mark 1 Fabia Front Wings are the same on a hatch and estate? I can't see a difference and I've found one for an estate but it states it won't fit the hatch. Some kind person stoved in my sons wing when it was parked and I need to replace it as it won't pull out.

I have an issue with my gearbox when the car has been used for a while and the oil is hot. The gearbox becomes very stiff and it becomes hard to move the gearstick across the gate. Selecting gears becomes problematic and I often hit the wrong gear or not at all! I've checked the gearbox oil level which is ok and the oil still looks good. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the cause?

Evening all. My first Skoda was a brand new 1.9 TDi L&K on a 52 plate. I was only found to look for a second hand one but fell in love with it for £15k. I finally traded it in last year for a 1.8T L&K on a 60 plate. I've had a 53 VRS Fabia and an Elegance Fabia Mk1 as well. My son has started his car owning story with a 1.2 Fabia.

In the last few days my cooling fan has been coming on occasionally after the car has been switched off. It literally happened after I moved the car from the road to the drive and then drains the battery. I've seen tips about the TDi but nothing for petrol. I've trying looking it up but have no idea what causing it.
