Anyone interested in a mk1 Octavia elegance estate on a 52 plate 2.0 petrol 96k. Mots up on Friday. High Wycombe area. Otherwise it’s heading for the knackers yard which would be a shame.

Had a mechanic put it up on a ramp today and said all is well but if I wanted to put stiffer towing springs in the rear it would do no harm. Not sure where to get these.

I also have a full size spare.

I will try and empty it later to get a better reading

No evidence of tow bar. Mileage 46k. Rear 650mm Front 673 with the tools still in.

It’s not a 4x4. 2.0d SEL DSG on 66 plate.

So apart from the dead bodies - the tyres are all the same, the back seats are flat and it’s got tools in it around 50kg max, evenly distributed. The car drives well ish but spins quite easily from a launch. Not sure what’s going on to be honest. I’ve had it 6 weeks and only recently noticed.

Hi Guys New on here. Finally changed my mk1 52 plate to a mk3 66 plate SE L. Thinking of changing the wheels from the 16 inch supplied to something bigger. What are my options without upsetting the balance of the car? I use it as a van for building work so couldn’t get the vrs as customers might get jealous. Just want to jazz it up a touch without being to flashy. Thanks in advance!!
