  1. I've just had the battery checked at Halfords .. 12.5v and 420amps Thanks for the recommendation of Abtech.
  2. Hi all I have an intermittent brake servo warning on my Octavia 1.0TSI. Sometimes it activates - especially after going around a corner I took it to a garage and they couldn't find any fault codes - they had to drive the vehicle up and down the road until the warning reappeared. They said the vehicle is safe to drive as there is no physical problem with the braking system. They topped up the brake fluid and the error didn't appear on the next road test, however it then reappeared 40 mins after I had left the garage. The fault also coinsides with an error for the stop start system. Does anyone have any recommendations for a Skoda specialist near Southampton who could investigate and repair? My money is on a sensor somewhere. Doesn't make sense for it to be an intermittent warning if it is a physical problem (eg split vacuum hose) . Is this an issue that anyone has experienced with their Octavia? Many thanks for reading and kind regards, Matt
