  1. Hey guys, This is Nishant from Netherlands. I'm new to this forum and looking for some experts advice. I recently booked my first Octavia. It's a 2014 Octavia Combi, with 1.4 TSI engine. It basically had very low mileage and thus I kind of went ahead with. Only one issue this car, that it has 'swing' head unit. So i have been contemplating to install a newer and much better system. One option can be an android system, since its cheaper. But after following some threads over this forum, i got to know that I can also manage to install genuine OEM products and thus wish to check that possibility with you. On ebay I checked the availability of various head units and some options are available which suits my budget, from MIB2 specs. With that the main question is, would it be easy for me to just swap the Swing system with any MIB 2 Head unit and compatible screen? Or considering the model year of my car, I can only stick to MIB1 specs? For example, I do some see an offer with this configuration 5E0035020B + 5E0919606. Will I be able to install this configuration in my Octavia or I also need to take care of some dimension constraints? I'm aware about the component protection and coding needs. But I'm not really sure, if there are any dimension restrictions to be considered. Any help is appreciated. Pardon me if I have asked silly question here. Another stupid question, does the better head unit also improve your speakers/audio performance? Or I need to take care of that with an addition of Sub woofer or Amplifier?
