  2. Hey I'm having a strange problem I have brought my second ever skoda, (Skoda Octavia mk2 2009 vRS TDI CR limited edition No° 396) and it has developed the strangest fault I have ever seen on a car. As with any car you buy you want to test it thoroughly, 0-62, MPG, Suspension, handling, etc. finally you get down the list to all electronics inside of the vehicle, I have checked everything throughout the car and the final thing on my list was the rear wiper, the spray worked as it should but the arm kept getting stuck, though trial and error I realised it had the right size wiper on it but the wrong type, but back to the issue, I then in the house after spending about 4 hours with the car and not a single fault other than the rear wiper arm, and got into the car to go to work, and I had faults flagging up on the screen, telling me to check pretty much all the bulbs in the car and the interior ones where malfunctioning too, Baffled as to what could have happened I opened the boot to get to my tool chest which I keep there at all times, and there was a funny smell, i immediately began investigating to find screen wash in the spare tire well, i took the interior of the boot out and the rear washer pipe to the left was connected and no issues, so I took the plastic part off where to boot hasp sits and to my surprise found wires running along the edge, which where drenched, then started to clean each wire in turn and re wrap each one with the correct electrical tape, contact cleaner ect and this seem to have fixed the issue, I checked the fuse under the bonnet F-16 and it wasn't that so I took the top panel off the inside lid to find the wiper jet and hold had come away from the window and was now spraying inside the boot, I disconnected the pipe and cabled tied it in half as a temporary solution and now trying to work out how to fix it to factory standard. Any advice
