Has anyone been ableto make use of the center speaker space iin teh dashboard? From other posts on the forum, I know its normally only used for cars with the Canton Audio system. I would like to know if anyone has successfully used this location as part of an audio upgrade. If so, Whats the largest speaker size that fits in this space? Will a 6.5inch fit? Adapter needed? How does one get in there without causing any damage?

My gearshifteer is starting to fray and i was hoping someone would point me to a replacement or aftermarket shifters that can be used without any modifications
