  3. Hi all, I have a Skoda Octavio 2017 and have been using Android Auto to display Google maps on the console and listen to podcasts. About a month ago the car stopped recognising when I connect the phone (using a lead). The phone beeps but the car doesn't acknowledge the phone and so it can't connect. I've tried updating Android Auto to the latest version and using different leads but this doesn't help. I have Skoda software version 0468 installed (with media codec 4101.0.0.0 ?) and the AA version is 6.8.623353. Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this? Any help gratefully accepted. Many thanks, David
  4. Hi all, Firstly, excellent site and thanks so much for the oodles of useful information. I'm about to do an oil change on my 2017 Octavia 1.4 petrol automatic and purchased oil and a filter from Euro car parts. They sold me a Crosslands filter (Product Code: 501440628: https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/crosland-oil-filter-501440628) as appropriate for the job. However the very helpful "How To: Oil and Filter Change on Mk 3 Octavia (2015 Scout)" by smokinmonkey on this excellent forum shows a plastic filter housing with a very different looking filter. Unfortunately I couldn't find a list of appropriate part numbers on this forum so my question is... does anyone know the part number for the correct oil filter? And which make should I use? Annoyingly when I put my Reg in the Euro car parts it still offers me the seemingly wrong part. Urgh! Many thanks in advance for your help, Archie
