  1. Haha predictive text (Torx) 🤦‍♂️
  2. Thanks for the response To get to the actuator is it fairly straight forward ( Tory screws)
  3. No I’ve just tried it. Is it the actuator. How much would this be to change
  4. Hi, Discovered today, I can’t open my near side passenger front door with the key fob ( central locking). All other doors open ok. I can open the door internally and when the door is opened in this way the door can be opened externally. tried the spare key same issue so not the key fob battery. Any ideas
  5. Ok. Local garage diagnosed steering rack problem. Took it back to car showroom where I bought it from they told me it’s one of those noises where it could of been from when it was manufactured. Anyway asked. the company I bought it from for them to prove otherwise. ( Consumer rights). So they have arranged for me to take it to a Skoda dealership for them to have a look at. Hopefully get to the bottom of it
  6. I’ve got it booked in with my mechanic who I always use to have a good look over it. See if he can identify anything. Before I take it back to where I bought it from for them to repair with it still being under warranty. Not that I don’t trust a dealership but I don’t😉
  7. Thanks for the response it is difficult to explain. There is no vibration in the steering wheel it doesn’t pull to the side.
  8. Hi, I have recently purchased a right hand drive 66 plate Skoda Octavia Estate After a few days I noticed a noise coming from the Front offside wheel when turning left. The noise is the same when when driving at slow or high speed. So not sure if it’s rotational when driving. I took it back to the garage they took it for a drive and heard the noise when turning left, but when the car was lifted up on the ramps they couldn’t find anything. Any ideas or anyone had something similar.
