  1. Funny you should mention Air Care and Aux Heater. My car is equipped with Air Care and also auxiliary fuel heater from factory, but I do not live in a Scandinavian country. I know the climatr menu and tried to disable the air care system, but it seems it always enables by itself as soon as I exit the climate menu. Anyway, is there any way I can change to "normal" HVAC settings ? Thanks
  2. Hi all, First post on here and of course it involves a problem I'm having with the car :) I have been driving Skoda Octavia's since 2016 as company cars, most of them with the 1.6 TDI engine and manual gearbox. Last November, I updated to a facelifted Octavia 3 with 2.0 TDI and DSG and managed to cover about 30000 km with it until today. In my personal opinion, the non facelift version felt better, both quality and handling wise, but this may just be a personal opinion based on interior noise level and worse handling ( maybe due to the heavier engine and gearbox at the front and non independent suspension at the back) anyhow, the REAL issue I'm having with it is that the climate control seems a bit wrong. I have been driving 2 other Octavia non facelifts 1.6 tdi for ~50k km each and I always felt ok with the climate on Auto at 23 degrees. With this new one, however, if I set the temp at 23 degrees it's ok when the engine is starting to warm up - the climate sends warm/hot air, but then after a while the air blown gets too cold. Basically, for the same climate confort on medium/long drives that I had on the older models at 22 degrees, now I have to set 25 or even 26 degrees on the new car. It doesn't make any difference if the AC is on or not. I tried resetting the system with the button combination but nothing changed. I went to the dealer that I bought it from and explained the situation, they diagnosed the car and the answer was that there are no errors and they can't do anything more. Has anyone else faced some similar issue ?
