  1. I actually preferred the badge! My favourite tweak so far is the wireless charging and the wireless connection to the infotainment system - went through so many cables on the old one!
  2. Sure, I guess I used the wrong terminology. I think you catch my drift though - this car has several (mostly very nice) changes/updates to the one I drove from 2017, but did not come with the same interfaces (SD card slot, CD player) as the previous one, hence the query (now happily resolved)
  3. Happy to say a USB stick has done the trick. Phew. It was just a card reader that didn't work. Thanks for the advice. For anyone interested, this is what I'm using (had another look and this was suggested elsewhere on this forum as it happens) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B010HWCFDA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_xwN0FbPFNQCHX
  4. Thanks for the suggestion, will try that tomorrow (need to order a USB stick with USB-C!) and see if that solves it. Here's hoping...
  5. Hi all Just got a new Kodiaq SE L (70 plate) having driven the 2017 model previously. Very happy with the facelift in general but hadn't realised there's no SD card slot or CD player anymore. I can't for the life of me figure out how to play music from an SD card now. I have an SD to USB-C reader but this isn't appearing under the audio options when I plug it in. Something called "My files" is there but I can't see how to upload anything to be accessible from "My files". I have lots of music on the SD card from the old car, much of it used to placate the kids on longer journeys! And not enough room on a phone to store/Bluetooth it. So would really like to find a way to get this working if at all possible. Anyone have any bright ideas? It can't be this complicated surely! Thanks
