  1. They did indeed mate  But I thought the San Bernardino was better personally, The Stelvio was difficult to see around the corners and there were too many cyclists on it to really enjoy it
  2. Hi mate, Yes thats me Corsa is nearly finished now, haven't updated the Corsasport thread for ages though
  3. Hi Guys, Just to let you know the car is in this months magazine! (White Subaru on the cover) I'm very happy with the feature and the pics look great. Go buy if your interested Cheers, Neil

  6. Hi all, Haven't posted on here for a while but I finally finished my Fabia a few months ago to the standard I wanted it at so I thought i'd send a few pics to REDLINE Magazine, as I get the mag every month and they are now prodominately interested in "Fast Road Cars" and not track / drift / styled cars like they used to a few years back. They got straight back to me and said it'll be perfect for a feature To which I was very happy about. The car will be in the June Edition of the Magazine (available in May) and I "think" its going to be the first Skoda Fabia they've ever featured Below are some of my pics of the car from over the years. Then some pics I took on my camera phone whilst the car was being Photographed for the Mag. Hope you like
  7. I need an external oil cooler as im regulary seeing 130degrees of oil temp in the sump on trackdays!!! And I believe Diesels heat the oil hotter than petrols don't they? I read somewhere that oil temp at the base of the piston can be up to 315 degrees and on a petrol is more like 160degrees... here we go found it..see link Motor oil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I will send a message to Jason if you reckon he's got one but in the meantime has anyone else fitted one? Cheers, Neil
  8. Hi, Im looking to fit an oil cooler to my VRS. First off have any of you done this? I've fitted Mocal Oil coolers to a number of Vauxhalls in the past but they all have just a take off/sandwich plate that fits inbetween the oil filter (which is external) and the oil pump. As my VRS has a internal style filter I was wondering how easy, or if at all possible it is to fit a cooler to the Oil pump or system? Anyone know of any off the shelf bolt on kits for the PD engine? Cheers for any advice or help. Neil
  9. Just had a lot under the car and it looks like you have to remove the undertray to run it and yes it will hang down a bit. Hmmm...
  10. Someone must of replaced this surely? Or do they tend not to go?
  11. Hi, I have a VRS with a Vibra Technics Dogbone rear Engine mount but I've noticed my Gearbox mount (uderneath the Airbox) is moving around 1.5"'s so I reckon its time to change it. Does anyone know the part number from Skoda? How much it costs? And does anyone make an uprated version? Cheers, Neil

  13. Is anyone running the OMP Front Lower Strut Brace for the SEAT IBIZA? If not does anyone know if it'll fit a VRS? Welcome to Strutbracer, Ace site for braces and stuff I was speaking to a guy who was running one on his Ibiza TDi at a track day at Silverstone and he reckoned it was a worthwhile mod. He reckoned at high speed cornering on track the car felt a lot tighter... Any thoughts / comments? Cheers, Neil
  14. At 3 mins 35secs on the 2nd Video Shows exactly how much fun my Whiteline RARB is on its hardest setting! And 2 laps before someone commented that I must be on standard shocks....lol FSD's & Eibach springs But yes they were a little soft 1 min 28.7 sec's was my quickest time of the day. Awesome fun!!! Neil
