  1. Yes reset was done but the dealers I bought the car from is based in Norwich and I live in Manchester so the fault was with the Norwich dealer. I'm happy now and can't be bothered with chasing them, I can't travel outside my area anyway. Having Lookers sorting it for me is the only thing I can celebrate this Xmas!
  2. Update. I took the car in for the oil change today Lookers, Stockport), the lady on reception took the key and asked how many miles are on it. I told her 480 and she said "is that all"? When I confirmed it she said "it shouldn't need an oil change yet, let me check". When she came back she told me that the system should have been reset before I collected the car and no service or oil change is required, gave me the key and wished me a merry xmas. I learnt something today!! Thanks again for all comments.
  3. Thank you all for your help. I've been in touch with Lookers Stockport and got the following info. I bought the car new on 26th Sept with 20 miles on the clock. Lookers told me that it was first registered at the end of 2019 so the oil change is due regardless of the mileage (450) on the clock now. I've booked in for the service later this week.
  4. Thank you, I've been in touch with Skoda UK and they are contacting my local dealer. Awaiting a call from the dealer for further info.
  5. That was the first thing I did when the warning appeared. I'll post the answer I get from the dealer later. Thanks.
  6. Thanks for that. I bought the car from a main dealer and it was registered on Sept 1st, 20 miles done when I collected it. Only 450 miles on it now so I can't see it needing an oil change, I'll have to speak to the dealer and hear what they say. Your point about when the car could have been produced coild explain why the message is being displayed now, maybe it needs to be reset.
  7. I bought my new Skoda Superb Sportline in September. Due to the Covid restrictions it has only done 450 miles, the onboard system is now saying that it is due for an oil change in 2 weeks time. I cannot believe this is correct and I have contact the dealers querying it. To date they haven't replied. Has any other owner experienced this?
