  1. Skoda Octavia 3 Broken Infotainment Control Unit Options

    The infotainment control unit in my 2014 Octavia Rs Estate has broken and Skoda has quoted me $8000 (aud) for it to be replaced and coded to the vehicle. This price is obviously unreasonable so I'd like to know what other options I have. The infotainment system isn't entirely dead but sound wont work until I attempt an update through the service mode which for some reason turns on the audio once the update fails. The audio also sounds distorted and bass regularly drops in and out. Any suggestions or assistance will be greatly appreciated?
