  1. Hello! Just having some issued with my 59 plate Superb, 2.0 tdi 170 bhp. i had the glow plug light flashing, saying “engine systems, workshop”. I had a read about this through posts in here, and according to others people comments, I believe the brake swith is the problem, as the car doesn’t go into limp mode. Yesterday I have changed the brake swtich( the one placed unde the master cilnder), and today I had the same message in the dash, but this time together with Engine light, which remained on. Now I am looking for the brake pedal switch, I know there are 2 switches. But I can’t realy find it, the pedal doesn’t seem to have any switch on it. Can anyone give an advice, or any help, telling me where it could be located? thanks
  2. Hello! Me again with another problems. I have noticed that my prking sensors do not work all the time, but if I turn ignition off and back on they are working with no problem. Plugged in yesterday, and had the error code 01316- ABS control unit, intermittent fault. Just read about the error code and it says that the wiring, or ABS control unit should be replaced. And there is another problem related to the ABS, when I’m reversing, my rear brakes seems to be stuck, I need to accelerate, in order to reverse for parking. Tonight, when I got home from work, just reversed on my drive, to park the car, the prarking sensor were faulty, and noticed that the brakes not remain stuck, while sensors faulty. Then turned ignition off and back on, sensors were working, but brakes seems to be stuck again...Is the ABS control unit dying, what should I check? If I buy a second hand ABS unit, do I have to recode it? I have to mention that I have no ABS related lights in the dash. And found another error code( can’t attach the photo, due to 10mb upload limit), which I think it may be related with the one mentioned above: ABS -With ESP -01279 -Acceleration sensor, longitudinal, faulty signal, intermittent fault. Are this two problems connected together? Any advices would be much appreciated. Many thanks

  4. I will try to fit halogen bulbs again, and deisconnect the battery. If not I will remove boot trims in order to look for the broken wires, which I think this may be the fault, as Delphi diagnose shows it as a permanent fault. Whee should I find the load resistors? Thanks a lot langers2k
  5. Hello! Just bought a Superb last days, with the Check Left and Right reversing lights message on dash. Ex owner mentioned that the error might be from the LED lights he fited in, but today I have fitted normal bulbs, errors gone, but when put into Reverse the errors came back on. After this I have plugged in and got the error code: 01519 - Right Reverse lights, short circuit to positive or open circuit, Permanent 01518 - Left Reverse lights, short circuit to positive or open circuit, Permanent. i have to mention that the Reverse lights are fully working, but I want to get rid of the message in the dash. The car is a Superb, 2.0 tdi 170 hp, 59 plate. Did anyone had this problem? Thanks
