Hi all I recently had a problem with the air flow selector. It is not changing to other positions. It is fixed on the last position I put it in. The picture below shows the device, and the position in which it is actually working is indicated by the arrow. Is there any fuse that is protecting the device? And where is it located? Hi all Thank you for your help! I changed again the oil of the gear box with the original one. Things are much better! And now the gears are passing fine

Was the crunch on the second gear or all ??

Hi; A fixed oil viscosity is the desired oil's parameter. And I think in my case the viscosity is the only thing that can change after miles, as it heats up. I will try to put the original oil and see the results

On the bottle it is written 75W-90. And it says that it is designed for gear boxes

I think it is not the right oil I used. I will check, I still have the bottles

I used liqui moly oil. It is designed for gears according to the supplier, and also this is what it is written on the bottle

Can we have the oil spec from the internet, or the Skoda website?

Indeed, if I take some time to pass the second, th phenomenon does not appear. And this is what I do to avoid it. But after miles, I can drive normally as no thing was.

Hi all I have crunching when I pass the second gear. The phenomenon appears just at the beginning; and disappears after some kilometres. I changed the clutch kit, the gear oil, and also the cables adjustment. Unfortunately things are the same. Thanks in advance

Hi all I am experiencing noise when I pass to the second gear on my Octavia, and also some times, the reverse is a little bit difficult to pass also. Can this be caused by the oil used in the gear box? Since I changed it two or three years ago?
