Hi MicMac Thanks for the advice, my mechanic had sent mine off but it was past repairing, as was another second hand one that he got at his own expense. I'll ask him for the part number and have a look myself.

Hi I have a 2009 VRS and my mechanic is struggling to get a replacement ecu for the mechatronic unit as apparently they aren't made anymore, and second hand ones seem to have the same issue as mine and it is a minefield trying to take a punt one that might be ok, any one had a similar problem and found a decent supplier? I would really appreciate any help Thanks for reading this Lynne
