"Coasting" in other modes than ECO?
Interesting information, so some of you happily do D <-> N happily during the drive, some of you wouldn't. The conclusion so far is, that "coasting" as is in Eco mode is not available in other modes and there is no "option" or "hack" to get it for the 2016-19 models.. If anyone has other information, please share. Thanks all!

"Coasting" in other modes than ECO?
Hi all, I'm curious if there is a way to add "Coasting", which I reckon is the equivalent of putting the gear into Neutral (in manual gearboxes) while driving, to other driving modes like "Normal", "Comfort", or even "Sport". Honestly I don't like it when I accelerate then I let off the pedal and then I feel the gearbox slowing the car down... ? Thank you

Power Window: Goes up and then it winds back down to 1/3rd
Hi @Pete_Ex-Wino, the creakiness I meant directly from the controller itself, clearly from the pressing down up, that's where the sound comes from, doesn't have this nice haptic feel as when new. Thanks for that LLL Parts, looks pretty decent though I've struggled to find that controller button for example

no wind deflectors. was about to do the reset and it appears to be ok now. the only thing I can think of is that the car was in the car wash and after that we have noticed that. The passenger side controller is a bit creaky too so maybe I will just change it. Btw, does anyone of you know of a decent oem parts numbers lookup website that would do the search based on my VIN? Thanks all.

Hi, thanks for the tip, didn't know the trick about resetting the windows. In regards to running them smooth or not, they have absolutely no problem, they work really well. It just seems that it doesn't know when it's supposed to stop and the safety detection kicks in (like if it detects an obstacle) and then it winds back down. Let's see how the reset goes. I will keep you posted

Power Window: Goes up and then it winds back down to 1/3rd
Hi all, have an interesting issue here unfortunately. RHD vehicle, passenger window controller (on the left), when commanded to fully close automatically, the window goes all the way up, stops and then winds back down to about 1/3 of the height. When the same command is issued via remote control (open all windows - slide them down via unlock press for 3 seconds and then lock button press for 3 seconds, the behavior on that window is the same. However, when commanded from the driver's side, it works ok (90% of the time as it happened as well that it went down). But the passenger controller fails to close it 100% of the time. Any ideas? thanks !

Voltage drop at ignition off?
Thanks everyone for their responses. I will probably have to end up with the external battery from the same manufacturer that does the dashcam (due to the connector). This will resolve the problems.

battery is about 1.5years old... so not too bad I'd say?

Voltage drop at ignition off?
Hi, I've bought the blackvue dashcam that has the parking mode ability with the in-built voltage cut off to prevent the battery going flat. The thing is, that it goes into parking mode for about for about 10 seconds and then it shuts down (once I turn the engine off.) At first I've thought it's the faulty device as I've set the cut off to lowest setting 11.6V I think. So I've measured the voltage at battery, at the fuse tap, at the cable running into the dashcam before I start up the vehicle, 12.4V. Then I start the engine, the dashcam powers on, voltage is all good. Then I turn it off, the voltage drops to below 11.4V temporarily, but long enought to confuse the dashcam so it powers off, then the voltage climbs back up within a minute. What is causing that drop? I see the DRLs are on, I've tuned off any cabin lighting, turned off the welcome/leaving home functions but it still drops. Any tips? Thank you

Mk3 2017 Wagon Tailgate Trim Removal: manual / guide needed
Ok for anyone else: - yes, the bottom trim needs to be removed first. - use the prying tool, start from the center next to lock, slide the tool along and it will pop easy. - all of the points are to be pulled straight off from the panel, nothing from the sides - it's hard to get the other row of springs released but can be done. - top trim has 2 screws, remove - start from where you removed the screws all the way to the middle,

Mk3 2017 Wagon Tailgate Trim Removal: manual / guide needed
Hi, I have the 2017 wagon/combi full spec and I need some help on what is the procedure for removal of the top trim. I have the manual that dates back to 2015 but I don't think it's the right one as even the image of the top trim is not exactly the same as I have. Can anyone tell me if: - I have to remove the bottom trim in order to remove the top one? cheers!

C-Pillar (Wagon/Combi) Help Needed
Ok, got it out. for anyone interested in the feature. Model: Superb my17 wagon 206 full spec Removal of: C-Pillar trim (combi) - LEFT Advice: RTFM - read the fk manual. in the manual it says: remove the top trim of the luggage compartment trim. Usually when there is a requirement of the removal of other part, the manual provides the link, however I've missed that. So if anyone needs to get the c-pillar removed in combi/wagon, the proc is as follows: - remove the side bottom air bag trim. the manual says remove the seat and so on, not really required as I wanted to avoid having to buy new seat grommets. you can only detach the top bit from the housing. DO NOT PULL IT SIDEWAYS, it's not a clip-based mechanism.Fold the seat down. while sitting in the luggage compartment, grab the leather/cloth trim of the airbag trim and LIFT IT UP AND THEN INWARDS. - remove the top trim of the luggage compartment, yes, has to be done as this trim is attached to C-Pillar trim at 2 points. Remove all the screws and while sitting in the lugg.compartment, start from the rubber door seal, gently pull inwards, the first clip will pop, and continue from there. Move the trim from first step a bit inward and popup the clips from the c-pillar trim. - now it gets bit tricky, not if you decided to remove the whole trim, but I left it there. Grab the c-pillar trim from sides, be careful on the left side, it does have little plastic hooks. and popout the single clip that sits to the bottom of the trim. once popped, you need to push out both bits from step 1) and 2) and lift the c-p trim slightly up, inwards, and then down. Of course, the panel beating shop was rushing putitng the panel back in so they broke the plastic bits so now I'm chasing the spare part ;/

C-Pillar (Wagon/Combi) Help Needed
Hi all, seems like when they have done the panel repair at the panel beater, they took of the C-Pillar but haven't properly either took it out, or put it back in but I'm worried it's damaged beyond repair, however, I'd like to take it out and inspect it. Part: C-Pillar Left (in the dir of driving). Status: Top part is wiggly, left part, that should be snugly fit to the window is loose and can put the finger in, the right part from the door rubber seal side is tight at the bottom, loose on the top. Question: how to I safely take it out. I need someone to explain in few more steps other than the manual that I've found. Much appreciated. Also if anyone has a photo / part number that I will need would come in handy. Thanks all.
