  1. Thanks for all the replies, I managed to get underneath today and had a proper look, it's a piece of wadding covering the sump, the front edge is all ripped and frayed but I managed to reattach it for now by making some new holes in it and cable tieing it. We'll see how long it last.
  2. Yes, it underneath the car (not under the bonnet) my first though is that it was covering the sump. If I get underneath and for whatever reason it won't refit, is it detrimental to remove it?
  3. Hi, I have a 63 plate Fabia estate 1.6TDI, a few weeks ago the engine under tray broke a d was dragging so I removed it until I can get a new one. However I have now noticed a piece of what looks like fabric wadding hanging down I can't really find any info when googling it but assume this just another protective cover that I can remove for now? And if so anyone know how it is attached? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
