  1. Issue now resolved. Deleted all accounts and IDs then did the setup fully through the infotainment system. Found the incar sequence to be alot more intuitive than playing around the app / Web browsers. Thanks for all the advice guys.
  2. Hi Greg, it's a 70 plate and the certificate of conformity was dated 04/07/2020. Just tried deleting the car from the myskoda app again, removed the links to app on the Skoda profile and gone through the motions again. Went out and got the vin number, created the S pin, unlocked and jumped in the car when prompted with two keys, navigated to primary user input details then throws up an error after 20secs.
  3. Just deleted the car from the app then gone out and done exactly that with two keys, the camera got some of the digits wrong though so had to manually change a couple of them. Went through it again and no luck still. Couple questions, was your phone already setup with the car? Do you know what software version is on your car? Just been looking at a couple of other threads and others are different and seem to be higher. Also wondered if there is anyway to test the signal strength the car has with the internet and if that could be a factor.
  4. Just gone and tried it holding unlock down on 2 of the keys and same as before. Not sure where to go from here.
  5. No when I log into the app the car is there in My Garage saying 'Not Activated', I click on the Activate then head to the car with the keys and input the email and password, it doesn't say any thing about holding the unlock button down though. Will go and try it now and see what happens. Cheers
  6. Evening All, Having some real trouble trying to setup my Superb and wondered if anyone could shed some light on the situation. Took delivery nearly a week ago of a Superb SE L iV Estate in the UK, loving the car but can I balls setup the Primary User in the car. I've tried everything i can think of. Tried using both the Skoda App and the Website, I type the VIN in and then got to activate in the car following the instruction (three keys were delivered with the car so I've had all three with me when trying to set it up). Start the car select to setup a primary user, input my email address and password, click register, the infotainment system thinks about it for 30secs then just says an error occurred. Also tried using the Log In button as well but says 'unable to load profile'. Tried using the integrated WiFi, using my home WiFi and using my mobile as a hotspot. Factory reset the car, deleted the apps and just tried using the website but cant get past activation. Is there something i'm missing or does this need setting up by a dealer? The car is on a personal lease so not sure if that has anything do with it? Having done a little reading i couldn't find a similar issue. These are the things I've pieced together so far (may or may not make a difference). It's a 70 plate so MY20, with it being an SE L it has integrated WiFi, does this make it MIB3? There are no SD card slots in the glove box, looks like what ever was there is now just blanked off. No upgrades to the infotainment system so assuming this means it's an Amunsden unit and not Columbus. Hardware = H12, Software = 0156, Nav Database = 19.7 - when i click on update software or the online download nothing happens so assuming these are up to date? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Ben
  7. Evening all, Took delivery of a new Superb Estate iV SE L (Black Magic) middle of last week. Getting the car finally made us get our butt's into gear to get a driveway built with a charging point. Having gone from a clapped out manual Ford Mondeo TDCI Zetec to this its a stark and improved change. Mainly used for work but will be getting a bike rack (Thule evo wing bars already ourchased) so I can get out in the local countryside once we're out of lockdown. Having trouble getting Primary User setup which is the main reason for joining the forum, will post about it in the correct section though. Cheers Ben
