Is it DSG ? mine did the same ,changed the DSG thermo now it runs at the correct temp ,its a cheap fix if its that as well !

Talked to a service tech and that is what they did , But why would they do it for nothing ? most unusual never had a dealer doing anything for free ?????

Hi , Its A 2012 2.0 TDI 170 BHP , It has had the update in 2017 before i bought it the garage just said it was an update ?

Hi ,just got my car back from skoda , The EML light came on ( Funny little engine light ) car still drove Ok ,I took it to skoda for a diagnostic check they told me it had to have an update ? on the invoice it said fault with intake pipe ,modified intake pipe and fault now rectified , they just charged me for the diagnostic check , Has anyone heard of this fault / update .

Mine was the same , I bought a universal gps aerial off ebay and it now works great , The gps thingy fits on the dash or where ever , no pulling the headlinig off which worried me that it would not go back right

Finally arrived , Now fitted and the sat nav works great, running cable behind dash was difficult , Brilliant site Thankyou very much

Thanks for the replies ,i bought a universal antenna to try , but will have to wait a while longer as the couriers lost it ( Guess Who ) another on the way , I hope , Another stupid question how do i remove the stereo surround ??????

No blue smoke , just never warmed up used more diesel as well !

Hi new to the forum ,but it helped with a previous fault ,eg underheating which was the DSG thermo thanks to this site it was an easy fix , Now my Sat Nav has frozen not picking up satellites , i have seen people on this sit using a universal sat nav antenna which i intend to do , I have a couple of questions does it work and how do i remove the radio sat nav unit oh and should i put the antenna on the dash , Thanks again
