Has anyone fitted poly bushes with PTFE tape ? If so does it stop the noise ? ( I've seen lots of clips and advice ) I'm at that first stage of starting to replace suspension components, I've done rear shocks and top mounts. Now I need to start on the front, first job will be shocks with top mounts and bearings , on my previous Bora TDI I replaced the front wishbones with Delph ones which lasted about 3 years. As I'll probably keep my vrs as my daily driver until it dies I was looking for a longer term solution . Any more advice is most welcome thanks in advance 👍

Hi all , has anyone had any dealings with PSB bushes ? I'm thinking of replacing my front wishbone bushes with these on my 2016 vrs Octavia diesel .

Thanks for info 👍 you are spot on . I cleaned the caliper carriers right up and got rid of all the built up brake dust that's why it wasn't doing it with the old pads . I wonder if you can get shims to take up the movement 🤔. I'll look in to this and post anything I find out . Thanks for your input greatly appreciated 👍 🙂

Just replaced fr pads and discs now I have a slight knock when I move forward then brake then when I reverse only on n/s tho . Thinking faulty spring clips on pads (pads moving in carrier)🤔, rechecked everything , followed all torque settings, coper greased used on pads . Fitted mintex pads and discs, old pads were mintex with no problems . Any one else had this problem? any suggestions ?

Mines a diesel , I'll check to see if it fits tho. Didn't realise the brakes are bigger on a petrol, thanks for the heads up tho

Hi all , I looking for a bit of advise regarding a spare wheel on my 2016 Octavia vrs . Does anyone know if the mk2 Octavia spare wheel foam surround fits the mk3 ? I have a 16" full size spare just need the surround if there's one . Any good advice would be most welcome thanks .
