  1. Hi Keith. Yes Sound just like that. I have Seen the video before the gearbox was changed and tought the same. the rebuild gearbox should have new bearing and seals. It is a rebuild so there is Always that suspiscion that it is a bad job. But before i demand the gearbox replaced again i will just make sure that you guys couldn’t help. sepul. I am not sire Why a dmf would help can you explain? The car came pff the factory with smf and it is not all 1.4tdi that Got this Sound.
  2. Hi. I Got an old fabia with 320.000km on it. The last 50.000km with me as owner. The engine Got a crazy rattle coming from the transmission side of the engine. The rattle is only noticable at idle when in neutral. The rattle stops when 1. the clutch i activated 2. the revs are increased a bit to 1300-1500rpm 3. Pressing the gearlever a bit into gear with No clutch. in the past month i have had a mechanic put a new clutch incl bearing and new refurb transmission on it. Nothing changed the Sound. he is now clueless to What it could be. His only suggestion is that the clutch release bearing is somehow bad. the car Got smf and not dmf today i tried to remove the slavecylinder to fell for excesive vibrations in the bearing. Nothing to notice. The video is from today. hope you can help IMG_4492.MOV
