  1. Then you probably haven't tried Zainos Z-16.
  2. Here's my vRS TDi with Mito KX 18" whitch i'm replacing for next summer.
  3. I can't say exact cost because my friend sell oem VW and Audi parts so my prices aren't any good in making comparison. Fitting wasn't that hard. It just takes bit bravery to hack your original parts when there wasn't 100% certainty that replacement will fit.
  4. It's winter here in Finland. No point! It's salt and sand everywhere on roads. Car keeps itself clean about 5 km after a wash.
  5. Today i got fed up with rubbish oem gearknob in my 07 vRS TDi. So i bought VW Golf V GTi one and started to work. Sorry but no photos of fitting process only after ones. Gear gaiter and rim doesn't fit so only the gearknob was going to be changed. It was somewhat nervecracking job to do because original gearknob was so tightly fitted that we were forced to break the connection (that's not the right word ). But everything came out great!!
  6. I don't know how to say it correct but paint it with your mouse and the text appears.
  7. I'm getting average 5,7 l / 100 km/h on my vRS TDi. Isn't that something near 50 mpg???
  8. We had our vRS Club of Finland's first track day last weekend. Club has been up and runnin' for about month now. Enjoy the photo's. URL to club's website is http://vrsclub.fi (only in finnish) if some one is intrested. http://vrsclub.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat/Ahvenisto+16.9.2007/
  9. Zaino's range try: Z-AIO + Z-CS. Combination gives plenty of protection and shine.
  10. Left it at the garage for few hours and it came back looking like this. Coilovers used are KW Variante 3.
  11. Meg's NXT Glass Cleaner followed by AG Glass Polish.
  12. Sorry should have made myself more clearer.
  13. No i wouldn't. Difference between us is that you use QD as lubricant and me regular car wash.
  14. I use Z-7 mixed with water as lubricant. So if i don't wash the car after clay Z-7 will just dry on the paint. There's so many ways of doing the same thing and no one can say witch one is the best. Just remember to use enough lubricant as you clay otherwise you may scratch the paint.
  15. No need to dry car before claying. Wash, clay, wash, dry.
  16. Forget AG or Meg and buy Zaino Z-16.
  17. I have never seen an engine that doesn't use oil. Wonder how they managed to do that... That must require some very special engineering skills.
  18. Talking about attention to detail...
  19. Wheels are Mito KX 18" in silver fitted with Bridgestone RE 050A 225/40.
