  2. Cheers - Think I'll be ringing a few garages up tomorrow morning to clarify.
  3. Thanks - Am I correct in saying that the 7 speed is the dry box (DQ200) and the 6 speed is the wet (DQ250) ? The more I've read online I would say the majority favour the wet box as you at least have the option to change the oil. However, there are sites which seem to give mixed information which is why I'm posting -
  4. Hi First post. I've tried to find the answer on here before posting but unfortunately I've hit a brick wall. I had a Skoda Octavia 2.00 TDI CR SE DSG 2014 model. I can't remember if it was the DQ250 or DQ200 box. I know at the time I was told to get that model as it had the better gearbox but I'm not 100% which box it was. I'm now back in the market for a Skoda Octavia from 2019. Looking at Skoda Wiki to try and find which models have which gear boxes, it seems to list 2.00L Diesel models having the 6-speed DSG (DQ250). It states " 2.0 TDI CR DPF 110 kW 2012-onwards common-rail, turbocharged 110 kW (150 PS; 148 hp) at 3500-4000 rpm 320 Nm (236 lb•ft) at 1750-3000 rpm (134 mph)". Looking through AutoTrader at 2.0L SE L 2019 Models it shows as 7 Speed Auto (!?) Going back to Skoda wiki, the only 7 speed models are Diesel 1.6 TDI CR DPF 77 kW & Petrol models 2.0 TSI VRS 180 kW (RS 245), 1.8 TSI 132 kW, 1.4 TSI 103 kW, 1.0 TSI 85 kW, 1.2 TSI 77 kW. So who's right? Why doesn't Skoda Wiki show the 7 speed model or am I looking at the wrong information? Cheers for any help as I've been on 2 days trying to work this out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Škoda_Octavia
